Erik and I went up this past Saturday. It was a great day
to be on the slopes. Sunny and warm. Some of the slopes
were a little over groomed making it rough for us beginner
snowboarders. Thanks to Drew and Erik for skiing with me
all morning even though I was a little below your pace :-)
and thanks to the rest of my favorite family for snowboarding
with me in the afternoon, especially Hannah and Maddy.

So the code that loads the lyrics on the main page was totally
broke. Well, not totally, you still got a lyric, but it was
using the last subscript of a different array to seed the
random function, and hence wasn't getting the whole list of
lyrics, something that was bugging me for a while, a lesson
in making very distinct variable names I guess. A minor fix
was also applied to the random picture generator for the picture
in the upper left. You probably won't notice that though.

Well, I up and moved home

Well, besides the fact that my family is really kewl
Erik moved to Raleigh and John moved back home
so I said, what's the point of having an appartment
five minutes away from my family's house all by myself
I don't have a girlfriend and I keep regular hours
I don't have any drug addictions or gambling problems
so it seemed like an easy decision. This way I can save
a lot of green and be able to buy a house if I ever find
the right someone to buy a house with ;-)

Been hanging witht he North Park whole crew a ton. Which is

even started my Christmas shopping. Note to self,

There's actually a good bit of snow, and I still haven't made it up to Seven Springs

Went to the Simple Plan concert at Nick's Fat City
with KT and Ricky. I was REALLY OLD as compared to
most of the other attendees, and even as compred to
the band (YIKES) but it was still really cool, and
there's something to be said for being the biggest guy
in a "mosh" pit, even though I wouldn't have called
it that, there are few other terms to describe a bouncing
throng of kids whose average age is maybe 16. I started
the concert up in the over 21 section upstairs, where I
had a great view, but I felt really old hanging with all
the moms and pops who brought their kids and decided for
some reason to stay, and seeing how much fun everyone
was having on the main floor, and all the crowd surfing
going on, I decided that we needed to get KT in on that
Ricky was a little concerned about the safety issues, but
we had him quickly convinced. We got KT up twice
and the second time the bassist David Desrosiers even
gave her his pick while she was up on stage (ROCK!)
They seemed like a really good group of guys and they
put on a great show. GOOD TIMES!
